Dear TTK Families,
We hope you are all in good health and you have enjoyed this time spent as a family.
We will be operating during this crisis for parents/guardians working in essential services to ensure their children are in a familiar, comfortable space. Below is a registration link for families who require care. This link will be updated weekly and will be available at www.ttk.org, or https://twitter.com/livetopkids and https://www.facebook.com/tomorrowstopkids.
TTK knows that many of our families are able to remain home during this time and we will continue to encourage everyone who can stay home, to please do so. We hope to offer help to any families in need during this time. If you know of anyone working in essential services who requires child care, please pass on the registration link. We will follow up with the additional registration information required.
Care will be offered at Errington, Westwind, Ferris, Grauer; or MacCorkindale (if you work in Vancouver your child is encouraged to attend this program). We will continue to limit our centres’ capacities to 20 participants and will keep it lower when possible. Please note, we will be operating at reduced hours, from 7:45am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
As partners in keeping our space safe for your children, parents/guardians will do drop off and pick up outside the door. Staff will escort children between parent/guardian and the inside space. In the programs, children and staff will continue increased handwashing. Surfaces will be sanitized at the start of each day and throughout each day. We will practice social distancing in our programs. Activities will be parallel, independent, and play based. Outdoor activities will be independent as well. Playground use and field trips will not be permitted during this time.
