Summer is slowly approaching with sunshine and warm weather, so what’s one better way to celebrate this than making a nice cold treat? Not much!

In this new video we show you and your families how to make smoothie pops so you all can enjoy a cold homemade treat on a warm day.

Smoothie Pops 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of frozen fruit
  • 3/4 Cup of yogurt, juice, or milk of choice
  • 1 Tablespoon of honey
  • 1 Teaspoon of lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into smoothie molds, or ice cube trays. If using ice cube trays, cover with aluminium foil, make a small hole in the middle of each cube, and place either a straw or popsicle stick in the middle.
  3. Freeze for 8 hours, or overnight.
  4. To remove, run cold water on the molds for 20-30 seconds to help warm up slightly. Pop the treat out of the mold and enjoy!

Tropical Green Pops

  • 1 1/2 Cups of spinach
  • 3/4 Cup of frozen mango, pineapple, or both.
  • 3/4 Cup of yogurt, juice, or milk of choice
  • 1 Tablespoon of honey

Chocolate Banana

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 Tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 Teaspoons of honey
