This summer was an absolute blast with the Quest group! Every day was an adventure whether it was exploring what nature had to offer us through the many hikes we did around the greater Vancouver area such as Buntzen Lake, or Lynn Canyon, to playing in the sand or creating games at the many beaches we went to.

Quest showed off their competitive side during archery tag, lazer tag, and our many games of man hunt. They also showed off their athletic abilities doing flips at apex and extreme air park, biking the sea wall, and through the obstacle course at Wild Play! One of our favorite ways to beat the heat summer besides slurpees, was being on or in the water! A strong favorite was Canada Games Pool which had a rope swing and diving boards galore. We also tried our hand at dragon boating, kayaking, peddle boating, and stand up paddle boarding.

Quester’s showed their love for animals on many occasions such as hunting for crabs at crescent beach, collecting starfish at lighthouse park and brushing every single goat at Queens park.

We also had a positive impact on the community this summer. We make cards for sick kids in hospitals, conducted shoreline clean ups by picking up garbage at white rock beach, and made sandwiches for First United Church. We also learned about the environment at Richmond Nature Park where we helped clear out invasive species.

Quest’s summer was filled with new experiences and adventure. I was very impressed with everyone’s willingness to try new activities, their creativity with games to play or riddles, and eagerness to learn! Thank you to everyone for bringing your contagious energy, goofy laughs, and big smiles everyday. You truly made it an unforgettable summer and I hope everyone had just as much fun as I did! Have a wonderful school year!

Best Wishes,

Amy
