Egg Carton Flowers

Hey TTK Families! 

We’re back with a new crafting video for you guys to try out! This new video has three types of flower that you and your family can make at all skill levels to suit everyone.

What you need: 

An Egg Carton
Paint
Paint Brushes
Hot Glue
Straws or Pipe Cleaners
Scissors

 

4 Petal’d Flower

  1. Cut out 4 sections of the egg carton, and remove the border leaving the circles.
  2. Paint and let dry.
  3. Glue stem on the back.

 

Curved Petal Flower 

  1. Cut out 1 section of the egg carton.
  2. Cut around the pointed edges to make petals.
  3. Use your fingers to curve the petal outwards.
  4. Paint and let dry, glue on stem.

 

Daffodil 

  1. Cut out one section. Cut into the middle and remove the bottom circle. Cut the tops off to make a straight edge. Cut off excess if needed to make a tight cup/rectangle.
  2. Using 2 more sections cut 6 petals. Cut the bottom of one in a circle to allow for a place for the petal to lay.
  3. Using more scrap carton, cut 4 small strips to become the eye of the flower.
  4. Hot glue together starting with the petals over the circular base, the cup, then adding in each eye. Add a stem to the back.
  5. Paint and let dry.
