COVID-19 TTK Update

March 13, 2020

Dear TTK Families,

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and take our lead from Government Officials and Health Care Professionals. At this time there has been no decision to close schools. We will continue to provide quality child care unless it is deemed unsafe to do so by the Health Authority.

For our Spring Break Madness programs, all scheduled field trips have been cancelled. Weather depending, we will offer trips to local parks within our communities. Children will be transported in either a TTK vehicle or on foot. Park locations will be communicated in the mornings as well as shared on our social media platforms twitter, facebook, https://ttk.org/blog/.

Should refunds or credits become applicable we will provide more details in May.

Staff have been sanitizing centre surfaces and will continue to do so daily. Children have been washing their hands under adult supervision anytime they go between rooms, come in from outside, and before all meals. To further support us in working to ensure healthy centres we ask that parents/guardians practice the recommended social distancing as specified by the BC Health Officer. Please knock on centre entrance doors and wait outside for a TTK staff member to release your child(ren) to you.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and support during these ever changing times.
