Hello TTK Families!
We are back again today with another staff favourite activity. Today’s is brought to you by Kara! Kara has been working with us now for a few years after first joining us in the summer of 2019. You can usually find her at our Ferris Clubhouse in the afternoon playing on the playground!
One of Kara’s all-time favourite activities is a classic team-building group game, Electric Fence.
This is a great game to see how well everyone can work together!
First, you must set up your “electric fence” – a string (or skipping rope) tied tight off the ground – should be just over waist-high for most of your team. You can tie your fence between two trees, two tables, a door… whatever you have on hand! Goal posts work well too.
Next, you must get your team over the fence! No going under the fence! Once a team member is on the other side of the fence, they cannot come back around to help their team – so the team must work together to think “how will we get everyone over the fence safely?”
Once you have your plan, get to it!
Remember, if you touch the fence – you are “electrocuted”!
